Was super quick, but she liked my availability so it looked good. They seemed to be in a hurry and everytime someone left the interview room another person would walk in. I was told to call back in a week or two to work out scheduling and everytime I called I was told "the manager you want isn't here, you want the other manager she'll be here later" and when I called back at the time they said, i just got the same storu about wanting the other manager. This happened about 5 times. Don't tell me to call if you're gking to waste my time and give me the run around..

The interview was a group interview. The Customer Service Supervisor was mainly in charge of the interview. It was a fairly straightforward interview with questions being evenly distributed among those involved. The questions were easy. There were no surprises. In the middle of the interview you are tasked with walking around the store and filling out paperwork pertaining to practices and employee opinions.

You are brought in with a group of 6-8 and they conduct a group interview. The questions are very simple and they don't jump around the group but go in a circle so you can listen to every one else's answer then respond. The interview was very relaxed and laid back. Laughing and joking was happening. After the interview they come back in the room and break you into two groups. If they like you they will ask you to stay and you get hired on the spot. A few days later you have to bring back two forms of ID and sign some paperwork then you are ready to start working.

It was a group interview with about 6 or 7 people. We all watched a video together about Kohl's values and then the Store Manager went around the table asking us all the same questions in turn. It lasted about 30 minutes in length. As the questions went on, I expected to feel more relaxed. However, the group format forced me to compare my answers to the ones given by my fellow applicants, which did not help with my nerves.

I was part of a goup interview with about 9 other applicants. Those of us who were on time were made to wait about an hour for other applicants who were expected but never showed. Extra long waiting time added to normal nervousness. Manager asked a question which we all had to answer before he asked the next question. Felt under more pressure to give the best answer. Would much rather have individual interview.

Super easy. Just asked me to try to sell them some items they had on the desk. Used questions from a form. She asked how I would handle a difficult customer. She also wanted to know what kinds of sales techniques I used to sell beauty products. She had no beauty background and was very interested in what I was saying. Mostly I asked questions like what are the daily sales goals and how many credits did we need to close weekly and monthly, all of which they had no standards for at the time because the department was brand new. These days I suggest you ask this because I expect they now have set goals.

Neither of them were very stressful- the interviewers were all very friendly and wanted really just to get to know me.
