Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Fri, 3 Nov 2017
Interviewed Mar 2,015 (took 21 days)
It all started at a career fair hosted by my university (UW-Whitewater). I approached their booth and after light conversation, they set me up with an initial interview. I can't remember if there was a phone interview before an in-person, but could be likely. My first in-person interview was held on campus. It was about half an hour. Then, they invited me back for a second interview that had two parts: I interviewed with an HR/ recruiter and a district manager. I met with and spoke with a lot of associates. After those panels, they ushered a group of six of us to a separate room, where we had a situational group interview. We were presented with a situation and collaborated together to create a solution, and presented. Out of those 6, I think they picked 2 of us. Total, a good amount of people interview and they picked 5 or 6 of us total for the group of summer interns. The questions themselves were mostly personality and situational type. They are trying to find (and will only extend offers to) a certain personality type. They are looking for charismatic leader-types who are quick-witted, passionate, and willing to learn. Because the learning curve is massive. They'll throw a lot of stuff at you and you're going to have to run with it!
