Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Tue, 3 Jan 2017
Interviewed Oct 2,016 in Tampa, FL (took 10 days)
I applied online and was emailed a few days after inviting me to an interview. I scheduled the interview online. I went into the store the day of my interview and was directed to the office upstairs. It was a group interview of about 8 of us. They brought us all into a room and the manager explained that he would ask questions openly and that it was up to us if we wanted to answer them. First, he had us all fill out availability forms and sign some papers. Then he asked us all to introduce ourselves. I was the first one to answer it. After the interview he asked us if we had any questions. Then he explained that he would bring us each one at a time into his office to discuss further actions, which meant offering us a job, declining us, scheduling extra interviews if necessary, or sending an e-mail in the next few days letting us know the decision.
He called each candidate into his office for a private conversation. When he called me in, he confirmed my availability, asked if I had a reliable source of transportation, and then told me has was offering me a job as a POS Associate. He told me the pay was $9 an hour, and explained the basic duties as a POS (Point of sales) associate. I accepted the offer and he told me that I'd get an email in the next 24 hours to schedule orientation.
