Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, but I declined – Fri, 25 Nov 2016

I talked to a recruiter at a career fair and handed them my resume; they got in touch with me to have me do a first round recorded video interview, which was a bit of an odd experience, to be honest. Questions pop up on the screen and you have 3 minutes to respond to them.
A couple weeks later, they contacted me to let me know I had final round interviews in Milpitas. I and about 15 other interns sat through a 30 minute presentation about Kohl's Digital Labs and learned more about their pillars. Then we were split up and led to our interviewers.
My interviewer asked me fairly good product questions that allowed me to demonstrate what I'd been preparing, but according to others their interviewers talked way too much or asked questions that didn't let interviewees show their experience, a la "what are some skills a great product manager should have?"
On the plus side, the recruiter handed us all two $50 visa prepaid cards as reimbursement for our travel expenses, which couldn't have been great considering we all were from local schools.
