Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Mon, 1 Aug 2016

The interview process was very easy. I applied online, selected a time to come into the store for an interview, and met with the store manager. The manager was interested in me, and then I continued on with the process. I received my job offer and turned in all necessary paperwork. Then, I get a call Friday about a status update. I call the corporate office number provided, and today I was informed that I am not eligible for rehire. I last worked for Kohl's 10 years ago. I had a great experience there, was never late, didn't miss days that weren't medical related, and gave a two week notice. I was never informed until the very end of this process that I had any issues going on. My offer was rescinded this morning, and I was provided the regional HR phone number to find out why I am not eligible for rehire. This has been rather disappointing.
