Applied online. Received an invitation to interview the following week. I kept my scheduled appointment and arrived 10 minutes ahead of time. Checked in at the customer service desk. Manager comes out and shakes my hand. She was friendly but then she introduces me to the Supervisor and she was cold. Fake smile. Didn't shake my hand. I still kept a positive demeanor. Interview lasted about 15 minutes. Manager asked the easy questions. The supervisor asked me the difficult questions. I answered them all with ease & smile on my face. Received an email 3 days later saying I didn't get the position. I truly believe it was because I didn't have a cosmetic background. But I did have retail experience.
